Dance has been a part of my life since childhood. From an early age, it became a language through which I could express what words could not. Growing up in Poland, I gained extensive stage experience in theatre, singing, and dance from a very young age—experiences that have profoundly shaped my artistic sensitivity.
For me, dance is far more than technique or competitive achievement. It is memory, emotion, and connection. During my Cultural Studies degree at the European University Viadrina, I deepened my understanding of the body, expression, and the meaning of movement from both artistic and academic perspectives. A particularly formative experience was a research journey to Andalusia, where I witnessed how deeply dance can be rooted in the history and identity of a people. This journey inspired my Master’s thesis on flamenco—a dance filled with pain, pride, and freedom.
At the same time, my path in competitive dance continued to develop. Through intensive training, stage performances, musical productions, and international dance competitions, I gradually shaped my own style—one based on discipline, dedication, and authenticity. Since 2019, I have been competing with my dance partner in the highest competitive category, Masters II S, in both Standard and Latin dances. National and international successes, including a victory at the German Open Championships Rising Stars, confirm this journey, but they do not define it.
What drives me every day is the constant search for depth, expression, and authenticity in dance. I regularly train with some of Germany’s leading coaches and feel that I am still on a journey of discovery. Dance is a living process—and my journey has only just begun.
